Competition Rules

​1、Originality: All entries must be completed independently by the participant. No submissions of others' works are allowed. Participants may use their own previous competition works.

2、Content Restrictions: All entries must not contain obscene, violent, sexual, defamatory, inappropriate, or controversial content. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification without prior notice.

3、Personal Data Use: Personal information provided by participants will only be used for competition contact purposes and to distribute competition notifications.

​4、Accuracy of Information: Participants must ensure that their personal information is accurate. The organizers will not be responsible for any errors.

5、Acceptance of Terms: By submitting their entries, participants agree to all competition terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant believed to have violated any competition rules, and there will be no appeals process.

Scoring Criteria

• Accuracy of Knowledge and Logical Consistency: Throughout the entire process of answering questions, the application of knowledge points is precise and error-free, and the problem-solving thinking is logical and clear. From the elaboration of principles to the reasoning process and finally to the conclusion, every step is closely linked, and there are no obvious knowledge errors or logical loopholes. When answering expository and analytical questions, the understanding of mathematical concepts is accurate, and the demonstration process is well-organized. Just like the precise notes and stable rhythm when playing a beautiful piece of music, it ensures the accuracy and consistency of the entire process of answering questions, making every reasoning step withstand scrutiny and giving the answer a solid logical foundation.

• Application of Methods and Demonstration of Skills: The participating contestants are able to skillfully apply appropriate mathematical research methods and techniques in the competition. For example, when designing mathematical modeling problems, they can accurately select suitable mathematical models (such as linear programming models, probability and statistics models) and carefully construct reasonable modeling steps. When dealing with computational problems involving mathematical data (such as function evaluation, calculation of the area and volume of geometric figures), they can use appropriate formulas and operation techniques, and the calculation process is smooth and natural. Just like skillfully using techniques such as trills and glissandos in a musical performance, it demonstrates a good professional quality and the ability to master techniques in the field of mathematics, making the problem-solving process efficient and accurate. The contestants are also proficient in interpreting and analyzing mathematical charts, extracting key information from the charts and using it to solve problems, which is an important skill in mathematical learning and application.
