Competition Content

  • In terms of performance tools and methods, contestants can use various environmentally - friendly materials and means to carry out their environmental protection "performances". They can use recyclable paper, wood, plastic, etc. to create three - dimensional environmental artworks, or use digital media such as video editing software to produce environmental protection promotional videos, making rational use of digital effects to enhance the expressiveness of their works. There is no limitation on the form of performance. Participants can choose individual creation, or group cooperation (similar to a double - piano performance with two or more people). They can also combine different environmental protection techniques, such as using recycled materials for creative assembly while integrating digital design concepts to give full play to their individual strengths and creativity, and to demonstrate their unique understanding of environmental protection and artistic style.

  • Entrants are required to submit their entries in the form of a high - definition video. The video should clearly show the whole process of their environmental protection creation or performance, including the details of handling environmental - friendly materials and the application of various environmental - friendly techniques. If there are special techniques (e.g., unique ways of recycling materials, innovative combinations of different environmental elements, etc.) or unique moments of environmental concept expression during the process, close - ups may be appropriate. The video format is limited to MP4 or AVI, and the file size does not exceed [500] MB (you can set the appropriate size limit according to the actual situation), to ensure that the video can be played back clearly and smoothly, and to fully demonstrate the contestant's environmental protection concept and creative level.

Scoring Criteria

  • Environmental Protection Concept and Execution Accuracy: In the World Earth Day Environmental Protection Competition, the understanding and implementation of environmental protection concepts are precise. Whether it is in designing environmental protection projects or proposing environmental protection solutions, the core ideas of protecting the earth's environment, such as reducing pollution, conserving resources, and protecting biodiversity, are accurately grasped. There are no misunderstandings or misapplications of environmental protection concepts, ensuring that all actions and ideas are in line with the goal of environmental protection, just like precise pitch in a piano performance without deviation.

  • Skill Application in Environmental Protection: Contestants are able to skillfully utilize various environmental protection techniques and methods. For example, in waste treatment projects, they can proficiently use recycling technologies, biological treatment methods, etc. In energy conservation projects, they are adept at applying energy-efficient devices and innovative energy management strategies. They also have a good command of environmental monitoring skills, such as accurately measuring pollutant emissions and environmental quality indicators. Just like demonstrating rich tone skills in piano playing, they show a wide range of capabilities in environmental protection, making their projects and solutions smooth, practical, and full of layers.

  • Presentation Style in the Competition: Contestants have an upright and confident demeanor during the competition presentation. Their postures are proper when presenting environmental protection plans or results, and their body language is natural and coordinated. Their expressions and gestures are in line with the content and emotions of their environmental protection ideas, such as showing a solemn attitude when emphasizing the severity of environmental problems and a positive and hopeful expression when presenting solutions. They can also make confident eye contact with the judges and the audience, demonstrating control over the presentation process and creating a good communication atmosphere for environmental protection concepts.

  • Depth of Environmental Protection Emotion: Contestants have a profound understanding and strong perception of the significance and urgency of environmental protection. During the competition, they can deeply integrate their emotions into their environmental protection works and presentations. Through passionate explanations, vivid descriptions of environmental scenarios, and calls to action, they vividly convey the importance of protecting the earth. They can also use appropriate emotional changes, such as a solemn tone when talking about environmental disasters and an enthusiastic tone when presenting environmental protection achievements, to make their performances full of appeal and trigger an emotional resonance with the audience and judges, just like integrating deep emotions into a piano performance.
